Are your beads natural?
To the best of my knowledge, all of the beads I use are natural, meaning they are not treated or dyed to enhance their color or appearance. If I use manmade or treated beads, I will indicate them as such. Please note that since these are natural stones, there may be slight imperfections or variations from bead to bead. Also keep in mind that certain beads, such as selenite, are extremely fragile, so caution is advised when wearing.
How does your pricing work?
My pricing is based on the number of beads used, as well as the quality and rarity of the beads. I pride myself on purchasing the best quality beads available to me and so a piece that uses A to AAA beads will cost more than a piece made with B grade beads. Gemstones such as blue lace agate or larimar, which are become increasingly difficult to find and are only found in one place on earth, respectively, will cost more than commonly found gemstones such as amethyst or rose quartz.
Why do you only have one item in stock for many of your products?
Most of my pieces are one of a kind to ensure that I can make a variety of different pieces using the beads that I have in stock. I may occasionally make more than one if I have a surplus of a particular bead, but I like to think that the exclusivity of each piece makes them even more special. However, I am happy to accommodate requests for multiples as my stock allows.
Can I order custom jewelry?
I am happy to make custom pieces as my stock allows. To request a custom piece, please fill out the form here. If you see something you like but need it sized up or down, please email me at info@lovestonedjewelry.com and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
Can I get my jewelry wet?
I would advise taking off your jewelry when you shower or swim to avoid damaging the stones or threatening the integrity of the elastic. I would also avoid getting any sprays or oils on them.
How should I put my bracelet on?
It is best to gently roll the bracelet down onto your wrist rather than stretching it and putting it on that way. While I do my best to ensure that each bracelet is properly secured, usually by double threading the bracelet, excessive stretching can weaken the elastic and cause it to break.
Why does my jewelry look different than the pictures on your site?
It is my hope that your jewelry looks even better than pictured! However, the color and clarity of the beads may vary based on different monitors, mobile devices, and color settings. Please note that the pictures are taken indoors with portable studio lighting. Additionally, because these are natural gemstones, there may be variations in the color, size, and weight of individual beads.
How does your sizing work?
My standard size is 7.5 inches, which usually equals 24 8mm beads with no spacers or 20 10mm beads with no spacers. 7.5 inches is equivalent to an adult medium and fits most wrists. This also allows for stacking if you want to wear more than one bracelet at a time. What size you choose also depends on where you want it to sit on your wrist.
